Expect more of this

Farmers Branch, Texas, has been considering a city ordinance that would make English the official language of the town. The ordinance would also make it illegal for businesses to hire or rent to illegal aliens (It's already illegal under Federal law, I guess it would just make it doubly illegal.)

Someone apparently doesn't like an American town deciding to speak the English language, or enforcing laws designed to thwart illegal immigration. So what do they do? They spray paint "Viva Mexico" on the side of the mayor's house. So much for "we just want to assimilate and be part of the community", huh?

Expect more and more of this, especially now that President Bush's offer of "amnesty" is now a real possibility with the newly Democratic Congress. Once given amnesty, the illegals' families will be on the next bus, guaranteed. And they don't want to be Americans. They want to stay Mexican in language, culture and politics. They only want to come here to make money and avoid the corrupt politics of their home country, not to become citizens. This will only further the "Balkanization" of America that liberal diversity policies of forty years has encouraged. The Mexican government is encouraging this illegal immigration, as it reduces the pressure to reduce their corrupt policies.

Please don't get me wrong. Mexicans are hard-working people with a rich culture all of their own. But that culture belongs in Mexico, not artificially moved here. As I have said before, until that country's corrupt government is changed, Mexicans will continue to pour across the border, until we shut it down.
