This should scare you silly

John Edwards, who wants you to know that he's only looking out for your best interests whether you want him to or not, had some more to say about his totalitarian health care proposal at a town meeting in New Hampshire. Here's a nugget from that dog and pony show that should enlighten you as to just how much he wants to control every aspect of your life in order to coerce you into signing up for his Ponzi scheme of a government "entitlement" program:

"Basically every time they come into contact with either the healthcare system or the government, whether it's payment of taxes, school, going to the library, whatever it is they will be signed up."

Don't forget the post office, John. That's a great place to waylay people.

You don't want anything to do with his government mandated healthcare? Tough. He's going to hold you hostage and hound you wherever you go until we get what we want.

Edwards was indeed asked about people who don't want or need his shoddy proposal, and he replied with "You don't get that choice."

Ah, but we do get the choice of whether or not to put you into office, sir, and based on asinine statements like the one above, I'm betting that's not going to happen.
