The pedophiles have won

A school in England (where else?), over-the-top paranoid about Internet weirdos getting their jollies from looking at pictures of their kids on the school's website, have decided that the solution is to alter the pictures in the following manner. These are actual photos representative of what the pics on their site look like:

Kind of defeats the purpose of even having a promotional website, doesn't it? Why even bother, if this is the type of stupid stuff you're going to put up? I especially enjoyed the picture of the soccer team showing off their medals. Their smiley-face parents must be so proud. What's with the one frowny-face kid? He must be the class doofus or something.

I'm all for protecting children from online weirdos, but this is going way too far.
