Ugly Nydia

At a campaign event in Pennsylvania on Saturday, the star of the TV show "Ugly Betty", America Ferrera, and U.S. Rep. Nydia M. Velazquez, D-NY, both spoke in favor of Hillary Clinton's winning the Presidency. When she addressed the crowd, Ms. Velazquez felt the need to add the following statement:

"'Sometimes, when I travel, I hide my passport,' Velazquez said. 'I was in the Rome airport and hiding my passport so people won’t know I’m American'".

If you're so ashamed of being an American abroad, Ms. Velazquez, maybe you should give up your passport to one of the millions of people around the world trying to get to this country and procure one of their own by any means they can, legal or otherwise.
