Optimus Prime is on the no-fly list

A British computer nerd was stopped at a Heathrow Airport security checkpoint and threatened with arrest after a security guard noticed that the cartoon Transformers character on his T-shirt was holding a cartoon laser gun. Actually, the robot's entire arm is a gun, but we're splitting hairs here.

After changing his shirt, the man was allowed to board his flight.

Well, I for one certainly feel safer.

Feel being the operative word, as that's all that these ridiculous "security" policies are doing - making people feel that they are safe, without actually accomplishing anything at all, except for destroying civil liberties worldwide.

Since Great Britain sadly no longer has any civil liberties, it's a wonder this incident even made the news over there .
