From the Department of The Glaringly Obvious

Prince William County, Virginia has enjoyed a 19% decrease in crime during the first quarter of this year. Fairfax County, located right next door, has reported a 22% increase in crime during the same period despite its being a far wealthier county in terms of property values.

The difference seems to be that the Prince William County government has enacted a crackdown on the illegal immigrants that they believed were negatively impacting the quality of life for their legal residents.

That lowered quality of life seems to have now been transferred to their less-enlightened neighbors.
