The peasants are finally beginning to wake up and tell their legislators in no uncertain terms that they do not want socialized medicine in this country.
Maybe all is not yet lost.
Here's an example, from one of the stories linked above, of the kinds of thuggish tactics (some apparently thought to be organized labor-based) being unleashed on the ordinary people who are daring to protest the proposed further government interference into their private personal lives:
"Kenneth Gladney, 38, a conservative activist from St. Louis, said he was attacked by some of those arrested as he handed out yellow flags with "Don't tread on me" printed on them. He spoke to the Post-Dispatch from the emergency room at St. John's Mercy Medical Center, where he said he was awaiting treatment for injuries to his knee, back, elbow, shoulder and face. Gladney, who is black, said one of his attackers, also a black man, used a racial slur against him before the attack." (All emphases mine)
All is fair, even the self-denigration of one's own race, when blindly fighting in the service of the Messiah, it seems.
Here's another example:
The caption for this picture?
"A supporter of health care reform, left, who did not want to give her name, pushes forward to rip a sign out of Kris McLay's hands outside the Stout Street Clintic visited by Nancy Pelosi. (THE DENVER POST | RJ SANGOSTI)"
What cowardly behavior by this fine example of an Obama supporter. She assaults another female, interrupting her free-speech rights, and then doesn't have the guts to put her name behind her actions.
We smell pure desperation. If you are involved in these demonstrations, please redouble your efforts. You're definitely making a difference.
