A frightening example of indoctrination

This is disturbingly reminiscent of the type of "Dear Leader" patriotic songs the kids in North Korea are taught to regurgitate on demand.

"He said red, yellow, black or white
All are equal in his sight"

Lifted from the old hymn "Obama Jesus Loves the Little Children".

"Hello, Mr. President we honor you today!
For all your great accomplishments, we all doth say 'hooray!'"

Sung to the tune of the "Battle Hymn of the Republic". You know, "Obama's His truth is marching on" and all that.

And people wonder why we refer to President Obama as "The Messiah". As we have previously stated, we do so precisely to mock this sort of outrageous deification of a politician merely because he's the "first black American to lead this great nation".

By the way, this video was apparently shot at B. Bernice Young Elementary School in Burlington, New Jersey, a public school. (The link is currently not working, no doubt due to the crashing of the site's server by the thousands of people who are curious to see the type of institution that would sanction such a brainwashing program by a teacher.)

We're sure the parents in that district will be ecstatic to see how their hard-earned tax dollars are being used to promulgate this sort of indoctrination.

We still remember when our sixth-grade class was forbidden to sing John Lennon's "Imagine" at our graduation ceremony because the powers-that-be deemed it too political for a public school function.

How far public education has fallen.

Just when I think you are a little too harsh with the name "Messiah," you remind me why you use it. Though I still prefer backing off name calling of any President (the respect the office thing),I think I have to acknowledge that you may be correct in nicknaming this President as you have done.

These continued indoctrinations of our school children is really disturbing. In my memory (and I voted for Jimmy Carter so I am old) I cannot remember ever seeing this type of blind adoration of a President. Not even Kennedy evoked this kind of gushing. And this stuff is way beyond the "rock star" status of Clinton (who was indeed a cool rock star kinda guy I have to admit).

Keep up the good work.
