... are the Lake County, Colorado sheriff's deputies who arrested Fire Captain Dan Dailey in what appears to be some sort of infantile territorial dispute, after Dailey did his job and responded to an emergency medical call at the sheriff's office itself. He subsequently refused to leave the scene when "ordered" by the officers to do so:
"The city and sheriff have been at odds over who should provide emergency protection outside Leadville."
Well, unlawfully jailing local firefighters for simply showing up when an ambulance is requested should certainly solve that little dilemma.
