Why I Carry a Handgun for Protection, Vol. 59

Because contrary to the denials by the Brady Campaign and the Violence Policy Center that such events regularly occur, naked blood-soaked criminals high on drugs really do randomly invade houses and kill innocent people, which is sadly what happened to an eighty-something female homeowner in Sacramento, California on Sunday:

"Detectives do not think he had any connection with the victim and that it was simply a random act of violence."

California is ironically one of the states that puts up such onerous hoops to lawful gun ownership and carry that many residents simply don't bother, to some of their detriments.

These sorts of incidents really do happen and people really do horribly perish from such attacks by the detritus of our society.  Be ready should it happen to you.
