It's quite interesting to note the near-instantaneous transformative effect the presence of a running video camera has on the surly and bullying attitude of Sergeant Scott Eberle of the San Rafael, California Police Department:
An officially-labeled site of "right-wing extremism" according to the Obama Administration, which overbroadly defines that term in part as:
"Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into...those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration."
"Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment", footnote, page 2.
In addition, persons who oppose illegal immigration or are against the further regulation of firearms are similarly tarred with the same smeary Federal brush in that assessment.
The Department of Homeland Security wishes individuals who come across such suspicious activity to contact them at 202-282-9685 or by e-mail at NOC.Fusion@dhs.gov. Please act accordingly.
