The Woodbury Police Department has not replied to my Data Practices Request of October 26, inquiring if "final disposition" has been reached in the case, along with any disciplinary measures or sanctions handed down, if any.
It is possible that a mailing error has occurred, and I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt (once), so today I sent another request to the department, along with a statement reminding them of their obligation to reply to my request in an "appropriate and prompt manner" as provided for in MN statute 13.03, subd. 2(a). I sent this request via certified mail, return receipt requested, so that there will be no possibility of a mailing error this time.
The incident happened on August 2. I cannot believe that their investigation is not complete, given that the officer admitted discharging his weapon in the report generated by the St. Cloud Police Department, and criminal charges have been filed in the City of St. Cloud.
More updates as I receive them.
