No, it means that you're a liar

Hillary Clinton has been caught in yet another in her unceasing series of totally unbelievable stories. This one has to do with a trip to Bosnia in 1996, in which she claimed that she and Chelsea had to run through sniper fire on the tarmac.

Well, video footage of the trip, as well as interviews with reporters who were there with Clinton, show that no such incident ever happened. In fact, the footage shows that Hillary actually stopped to greet and chat with a local child right there on the runway. No running, no ducking, no shots, no snipers. Hillary now says that she made a "mistake" when she recounted her tale multiple times at campaign events:

"Clinton told reporters in Pennsylvania on Tuesday: 'So I made a mistake. That happens. It shows I'm human, which for some people is a revelation.'"

Sorry, dear. A mistake is getting the date of an event mixed up, or forgetting who was or wasn't at a large party. Repeatedly telling a story that has absolutely no factual basis at all, and pimping out your daughter yet again while doing so, just proves once more that you are simply incapable of telling the truth, unless it somehow serves you better than the lie du jour.

Some more of her "mistakes" from right off the top of my head:

Maintaining that a "vast right-wing conspiracy" was responsible for the many sexual charges against her husband, when she knew full well all along that Bill probably had done the deeds, as he already had a long history of being blatantly unfaithful to her.

Claiming that she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary, even though she was born in 1947 and Everest wasn't summitted (and Sir Ed made famous) until 1953.

Disavowing any knowledge of the whereabouts of certain Whitewater billing records, which had been under subpoena but missing for over two years, and which then magically turned up on a coffee table in the White House residence quarters, with her fingerprints on them.

Telling the news media that Chelsea was jogging around the Twin Towers on 9/11, and that she narrowly escaped being crushed when they fell. In reality, Chelsea was on the other side of the city that day, and was never in any danger.

I could go on for hours, but I'm hungry, so I'll stop now for a snack. Mmmmm, snack. You get the picture, at any rate. If it will give her a perceived advantage, no matter how slight, Hillary Clinton will lie about anything, even her "beloved" family.
