The Denver Police union has decided to print and sell commemorative T-shirts that celebrate their work during the recent DNC convention.
Here's what the brainless trust decided to put on them:
"The back of the shirts reads, "We get up early to beat the crowds" and "2008 DNC," and has a caricature of a police officer holding a baton."
Truly inspiring. It's really cool and hip for Denver cops to announce that they're Jack-Booted Thugs, it seems. It's almost like the union is announcing that police abuse is something to crow about and be proud of, isn't it?
What do the homicide detectives put on their shirts, "We're just working 'stiffs'"? That would show just about as much class. Which is to say, "none".
