As has been stated in lots of other places, I'd like to see Mr. Iraqi Shoe-Throwing Journalist try that same trick with Bashar Al-Assad, Hosni Mubarak, King Abdullah or any other Arab head of state, particularly the late Saddam Hussein. Now that would be an action I would respect.
My guess is that had he done anything similar to the above "leaders", the journalist would not be needing those shoes anymore, as he would be missing his feet, along with several other body parts.
