Why I carry a handgun for protection, Vol. 14

Compare and contrast the following two videos, and you'll quickly see why I choose to lawfully carry a firearm for self-protection:

1. A Brazilian motorcyclist who is randomly attacked by a gang of feral youths in broad daylight in the middle of a busy street pulls out a .40 Taurus semiautomatic pistol and successfully defends himself, driving off the thugs and escaping injury.

2. An British man named Craig Rocket gets randomly attacked by a gang of feral youths in broad daylight in the middle of Rotherham, England's town center. Because he's been banned by the British government from carrying any sort of defensive weapon, Mr. Rocket is helpless to prevent the thugs from stomping him into the ground, seriously injuring him.

Which victim would you rather be?

By the way, the teen thugs who assaulted Mr. Rocket in such a brutal manner were convicted and subsequently given the "harsh" sentence of "two years in a young offenders institution".

That'll sure teach them a lesson, won't it?
