Donning their costumes

(EPA - Pic is from the article)

Some of the willing stooges doctors who were present at the White House propaganda session photo-op on health care "reform" that took place yesterday.

The physicians are dutifully receiving "their" white coats from the Messiah's staff to wear for the pictures in order to appear more learned and authoritative to the peasantry, no doubt in the hope that everyone's eyes will immediately glaze over and they'll subsequently obediently do whatever task Doc Sawbones tells them to perform.

"Underlying the strictly photo-op nature of the event, The Associated Press noted that Obama broke no new ground in his remarks."

But he's surely chewing the ground he's already covered into the worst kind of muck, isn't he?

News flash, good doctors - posing with a garment some of you haven't worn (or even owned) since medical school does not immediately make one an expert on economics, and it sure as heck doesn't qualify you to harangue Americans into buying a product they have no wish to own.

UPDATE: My good friend and trainer Matt brought up an excellent point while we were working out this morning - just who, exactly, paid for all of those bright new coats that were handed out like free drug samples so that the doctors could also "play one on TV" like some sort of mass Marcus Welby character or late night over-50 insurance shill?

We (all of us chump taxpayers) did, of that we have no doubt.

You should not blindly follow the New York Post and do your own research....there was a retraction on the NBC news last evening that the women handing out the jackets was from the doctors group and the White House had nothing to do with it.....don't beleive everything you read

OK, so Obama was accepting gifts from lobbyists, then, anon. Does that make it any better?

Remember, ahem, that he promised that lobbyists would have no place in his administration. Yet another Obama promise thrown out like so much used TP.

Besides, the photo op cost far more than just a bunch of $10 labcoats.....yes, the taxpayer IS on the hook for this, and in a big way.
