Government as landlord? Sure, if one lives in England

The London Daily Mail notes that in fully 20% of all the households in Britain the rent is now being paid by the diminishing number of suckers over there who still work and aren't on the dole government.

This unfortunate development is the direct result of a decades-long Nanny-state mentality in that country, in which anything and everything is labeled a "right" and therefore provided by the subjects' benevolent masters (but ends up being paid for by other ordinary peasants, who are thus forced on pain of imprisonment to prop up all of the dead weight of their lazy brethren).

This is exactly where our nation is headed as well, should the likes of Obama, Pelosi and Reid continue to advance their radical socialist agenda.
