The Promise-Breaker in Chief

Scanning the news today, we find that not only is President Obama breaking campaign promises at a record pace, he has also managed to cavalierly violate a personal bargain he made to his wife in order to secure her blessing for his run for office:

"Obama promised Michelle when he embarked on his campaign to become president he would quit, at the time he said he was smoking about eight a day.
He told reporters last year he had quit but still had an occasional cigarette, without specifying how many."

While learning how to take medical histories, we were cautioned to always double whatever amount of alcohol or tobacco the patient admitted using to arrive at a more accurate and realistic figure. 

In other words, Mr. Obama not only is desperately trying to hide a habit that consists of much more than the "occasional" butt, his word in his private life seemingly is worth about the same as it is in public - not worth a darn.
