Arizona Senator John Kyl emphatically states President Obama told him in a private Oval Office meeting that "If we secure the border, then you all won't have any reason to support comprehensive immigration reform".
Kyl understood the President's words to mean "they're holding it [border security] hostage".
Obama's minions say the President never made any such statement, even though Obama and Kyl were the only people present in the room.
Again - whom to believe, short of breaking out Maury Povich's lie detector expert?
Well, considering that Dear Leader made pretty much the exact same statement on a Chicago radio station in 2004,
we're (still) tending to believe Senator Kyl's version of events.
