From the Department of Glaringly Obvious Headlines

"I was anti-gun, until I got stalked"

An apparently very liberal-leaning (she writes about sustainable living issues) Oregon woman named Jennifer Willis, recounting in Salon magazine her conversion from hoplophobe to card-carrying gun packer after being terrorized by a stalker and having local police inform her there wasn't much they could do about the situation and recommending she take that action.

We've noticed this phenomenon more than once among our own friends and relatives.  It's amusing how some people finally realize how good an idea arming oneself can be when it's their rear-end in a sling.

In all seriousness, good for Ms. Willis for taking charge of and responsibility for her own personal safety.  We plan to email her and tell her so.
