Not such a shining example after all

The junior Nanny-state to our north is often held up by our clueless liberal politicians as a model country worthy of emulation, particularly on matters such as gun control, health care and human rights for those accused and/or convicted of crimes.  Well, scratch that last one:

"Canadian suspects of serious crimes do not have a constitutional right to have a lawyer present during questioning by authorities, the Supreme Court of Canada said today."

Just one more example of why, in spite of all our current problems, America is by far still the best country in the world.  Let's help get it back on track by voting as many as possible of Dear Leader's conspirators out of office on November 2.

When I read "nanny state to the north," I was wondering what on earth you had against Utah.

Except for the disgustingly yummy fry sauce they serve there.....
