Obvious liberal bias in a "news" article

"or a recommitment to the exceedingly patient approach that has marked the president's health-care strategy"

Dan Balz of the Washington Post, in his article today on the perceived need for the Messiah to rethink his approach to health care "reform" after a disastrous August for him:

"Exceedingly patient approach"? What story has he been covering?

Remember just two short months ago (We know it's hard, Dan, but give it a try), when Obama imperiously decreed that his socialized medicine scheme just had to be passed into law by the August Congressional recess or our country's economy would be forever plunged into oblivion? What was so flipping deliberate about that strategy?

"In other ways, though, the month left the administration no better and perhaps worse off than it was when Congress left town"

You just made the understatement of the decade right there, Dan.

We agree with commentator Mark Steyn, who made the following (paraphrased) statement today on the Rush Limbaugh radio show while guest-hosting the program:

Stupid people by definition are going to make stupid choices, sometimes ones that will eventually cause their own deaths. It's just too expensive for the rest of society to insulate them from the consequences of not being competent adult citizens.

You said it, Mark.
