Blatant advocacy of treason

"Stroke of the pen.  Law of the land.  Kinda cool." rears its ugly head once more, as Johnathon Seidl of The Blaze informs us that liberal weenie and head of the Center for American Progress John Podesta is on record as believing his hero Dear Leader should ignore the recent election results and just go ahead and use everything at his disposal, including the military, to force the country to "transform" into something more to the socialists' liking:

“'I think most of the conversation since the election has been about how President Obama adjusts to the new situation on Capitol Hill,' Center for American Progress head and former Bill Clinton Chief of Staff John Podesta told the Daily Caller. 'While that’s an important conversation, it simply ignores the president’s ability to use all levels of his power and authority to move the country forward.'

How does one 'move the country forward'? In the center’s report, Podesta explains that Obama can use executive orders, rulemaking, and even the armed forces 'to accomplish important change' and that such means “should not be underestimated.”

What exactly does Podesta think the president should use such powers to 'accomplish'? Among others, the report suggests 'job creation,' 'quality affordable health care,' 'sustainable security,' and 'a clean energy future.'"

Completely ignoring the inconvenient existence of Congress, the Supreme Court and the Constitution along the way, of course.

Had a conservative think tank come out with a similarly treasonous proposal after the Democratic takeover in 2006, the major media would rightly be screaming bloody murder.  Why aren't they eviscerating Podesta?  Oh, that's right, over 80% of mainstream news reporters consistently self-identify as Democrats.  They would presumably be right on board with the implementation of such a dictatorial agenda.

Bring it on, John.  We'd welcome that sort of foolish Mussolini-like overreach by the current administration, as it would pretty much seal their, as well as your ideology's, doom for good.

I scanned through the 44 pages of the report. It didn't look like they were talking about pulling a 101st AB in Little Rock. The suggestions were along the lines of putting solar panels on Air Force hangers and repealing DADT like Truman integrated the armed forces.
